The modern Quattro Business Park office project in Kraków, developed by the Buma Group, has undergone certification by the British building certification system – BREEAM.
The first to be assessed will be Building C, constructed as part of the 3rd stage of the development, with the total lettable space of 12,200 sq.m. At the beginning of March, Building C was registered in the BREEAM register with the projected rating of very good. It will be assessed in several categories: sustainable management, health and wellbeing, energy consumption, transport, water consumption, quantity of waste generated, use of environmentally-friendly materials and pollution. The final certificate is to be issued in the fourth quarter of 2012. Currently, the team of architects involved in the project is adapting detailed designs to BREEAM requirements. The design stage will end in the first quarter of 2012 with the issue of a temporary post-design certificate. The final certificate can be obtained after the construction is completed and the building has been fully commercialised. The certificate is to be issued in December 2012.
On 19 April 2011, Building D of the Quattro Business Park was also registered with the BREEAM. This building, housing 12,800 sq.m. of lettable space, will be constructed at the 4th stage of the project. It is to be completed in the last quarter of 2013.
