The Green Office Complex has been designed, and will be constructed according to the principles of protection of the environment, nature and landscape, and rules of spatial order. Design solutions relating to structures, elevations and building service systems have been based on energy-efficient, passive technologies, involving intelligent control systems. The underlying conception was to create offices, which would not only be human-friendly, but also nature-friendly. That is why special emphasis has been put on the project's compliance with the idea of the sustainable development. In practice, this means:
• being closer to nature – 30% of the project area include green, biologically active zones,
• energy saving– alternative energy sources (solar collectors, PV panels), solutions contributing to heat losses and gains (external screens,
low-emission window panes), instrumentation for automatic control of heating and air conditioning processes,
• energy-efficient technologies – equipment and systems of high energy efficiency: the air heat pump system, gas condensation modules
in air-handling units,
• mobility with zero emission – installation of sockets to charge electric cars,
• a healthy office – interior arrangement designs provide for the use of materials and equipment with ecological certificates,
• less waste – selective waste collection aimed at its recycling or disposal,
• noise reduction – the use of special sound insulation and anti-vibration elements,
• household water consumption reduction – uridan® water-free urinals will be installed in common parts of the complex,
designed to operate efficiently without water, and using no waste cartridges or chemicals, and mechanical or spare parts
The ecological dimension of the Green Office project sets out a new quality in office space creation.
